about
koganegawa kanji began his volleyball journey during high school, as an escape from the reality that he lived at home, but in no time he fell in love with volleyball.
he studied a technical degree in mechanics at date tech high in his hometown, miyagi. there, together with his best friend sakunami, decided to join the official school team.
even though his senpais scold him a lot for making dumb mistakes on and off the court, kanji is truly grateful for everything he learned.
thanks to his adhd, the relationship with his parents was not the best. from an early age he was classified as a "problem child", causing his parents to scold and punish him a lot before being diagnosed.
after his parents' divorce, his relationship with them improved a bit but it did not last long. when kanji came out as bisexual, his dad cut off all relationships with him. it was at that moment that the anxiety symptoms that he had been carrying became more severe, forcing him — along with the insomnia that he began to develop — to take medication.
for everything that happened, his sexuality was a matter of insecurity and self—hatred, which lasted for a long time. he covered that part of himself with his outgoing and cheerful personality that he showed to others. kanji never allowed himself to date men, until he moved to sendai after finishing high school, where he not only slowly began to explore and accept his sexuality, but also to question his gender.
currently they live happily in a small studio in the center of sendai, close to their work place. his life partners are two little kittens who were rescued from the street. comet is the little one, he is a smol black cat with white and brown spots along his body and moon, his sister, a white cat with pretty blue eyes.
